            Eragon is a farm boy who lives in a town called Carvahall that is in the upper northern reaches of Alagaesia. Eragon lives with his Uncle Garrow and his cousin Roran. Eragon and his family are not the richest nor the poorest they get by on what they grow and sometimes buy. Eragon lives with Garrow because before he was born his mother Selena came to Carvahall and gave birth to Eragon. She then pleaded with her brother, Garrow, and his wife, Marian, to keep Eragon. For some untold reason she could not keep him. However she did name him after a great person. He was named after the first dragon rider. Eragon knew nothing of these things until his Aunt died and she told him. No words can explain how Eragon fulfilled his namesake or how he had no idea how destined he is to fulfill his namesake

            Eragon is out hunting dear in the Spine, a mountainous forest many people do not dare enter. He is abut to kill a deer with his bow and arrow when explosion scares all the dear away. In the center of the explosion is a sapphire colored rock.Eragon takes the rock home. Then a couple of weeks later the traders come in and the ones who specialize in odd trinkets didn’t even know what it was. Except that it was hollow. Then two nights later he hears something in his room and the rock is moving and out comes a baby dragon. He takes the dragon outside and makes it a shelter in the trees but it soon is too big and he makes it a larger shelter on the ground. Soon two strangers come around looking for what Eragon found. Soon Eragons Dragon, Saphira, takes him deep into the spine to get away from the two strangers. While they were gone Garrow gets killed by the Strangers. Soon he and Brom the Story Teller run away from Carvahall and it turns out Brom was a rider and he teaches Eragon.

Book: Sunrise Over Fallujah

Genre: Fiction

            The Main Character in Sunrise over Fallujah is Private Robin Perry A.K.A. Birdy from Harlem, New York. He joined the Army and is put into CA or Civil Affairs. He is then put into a squad with Jonesy, Marla and Captain Coles. Robin or Birdy Joined the army with no blessing from his father. He wishes Robin was going to college instead of into the army. However even though his dad doesn’t think Robin  doing a good thing for his country, his mom thinks he is. Robin writes letters to his parents but he also writes letters to his uncle Richie who went to Vietnam. At the end of the war Robin understands why his uncle never wanted to talk about his experiences and apologized for asking about what happened many times.

            Sunrise Over Fallujah Starts out with a roll call. When your last name is called out you say your full name and where you are from. Then some of the high officers made speeches on what the CA unit would be doing over in Iraq. The Brass or head honchos also said how much faith they had in the CA unit. How this new concept they had hoped it would work. The soldiers then left and had some R and R. After the soldiers had been put into their units they had to decide what people would do what. Jonesy would drive. Marla was on the squad gun. Captain Coles would ride shot gun and Birdy would switch out with Marla on the squad gun.

Book: Shadow Divers

Genre: Fiction

Shadow Divers has two main characters, Richie Kholer and John Chatterton. John Chatterton was in the book from the start he was on the first dive of the sub. However he had been diving off the Seeker, Bill Nagle’s boat who received the coordinates of this mystery wreck. Richie Kholer would have been invited to the first dive of the submarine if not for the bad blood between John Chatterton and himself. This bad blood was from the time the Seeker dove the Doria, another deep wreck. John Chatterton went into the 2^nd class area where no one had ever been before. Only Chatterton had been able to get tinto that area because he squeezed under a steel bar. So john and Nagle formulated a plan  to cut this bar so everyone could get into the 2^nd class section. When Richie and his friends the Atlantic Wreck Divers found out about this they were going to go into 2^nd class and take tons of dishes. When John finds out about this he and a friend make a gat that looks weak but is very strong and can only be opened with a special wrench. The bad blood dissolves between them as they research and dive more together.

Shadow Divers starts out by a trade of coordinates a thing that rarely happens. This trade is between Bill Nagle, captain of Seeker a dive boat, and Skeets, a local fishing captain. Bill Nagle was once one of the greatest deep wreck divers, but he could no longer dive because he was in such bad shape from excessive drinking. So Bill Nagle and his friend John Chatterton each invite 7 people on this mystery deal. Many people decline because some captains have these mystery deals and it is a garbage barge. When john returns to his hme he goes to D.C. to go into the captured U-505 to memorize the layout of a submarine. The divers hoped to identify the wreck on the second dive which they don’t it is 1991and the in 2000 they identify the boat as U-869.
