Summer Reading Three

            Eragon is a farm boy who lives in a town called Carvahall that is in the upper northern reaches of Alagaesia. Eragon lives with his Uncle Garrow and his cousin Roran. Eragon and his family are not the richest nor the poorest they get by on what they grow and sometimes buy. Eragon lives with Garrow because before he was born his mother Selena came to Carvahall and gave birth to Eragon. She then pleaded with her brother, Garrow, and his wife, Marian, to keep Eragon. For some untold reason she could not keep him. However she did name him after a great person. He was named after the first dragon rider. Eragon knew nothing of these things until his Aunt died and she told him. No words can explain how Eragon fulfilled his namesake or how he had no idea how destined he is to fulfill his namesake
            Eragon is out hunting dear in the Spine, a mountainous forest many people do not dare enter. He is abut to kill a deer with his bow and arrow when explosion scares all the dear away. In the center of the explosion is a sapphire colored rock.Eragon takes the rock home. Then a couple of weeks later the traders come in and the ones who specialize in odd trinkets didn’t even know what it was. Except that it was hollow. Then two nights later he hears something in his room and the rock is moving and out comes a baby dragon. He takes the dragon outside and makes it a shelter in the trees but it soon is too big and he makes it a larger shelter on the ground. Soon two strangers come around looking for what Eragon found. Soon Eragons Dragon, Saphira, takes him deep into the spine to get away from the two strangers. While they were gone Garrow gets killed by the Strangers. Soon he and Brom the Story Teller run away from Carvahall and it turns out Brom was a rider and he teaches Eragon.
